Terms of Service

1. What you get

We build and host a website for your business, give you an Artisan24 phone number and dashboard, and provide the features in the plan you choose (for example the Missed Call Meter, text-backs, AI chat, calendar booking, review requests and the AI receptionist).

The website is free; you pay for hosting and the services in your plan. Prices are shown excluding VAT.

2. Plans, credits and billing

Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance by card through PayFast. Each paid month includes a number of credits. Usage-based features (calls, WhatsApp conversations, text-backs, chats, booking messages, review requests and AI website edits) use credits at the rates shown on our pricing page.

Unused plan credits roll over for one month. Credits you buy do not expire while you are subscribed. If auto top-up is on, we charge your saved card for the pack you chose when your balance runs low, up to the monthly cap you set.

To keep calls answered, voice calls can continue past a zero balance up to 200 overage credits, billed at month end at R1 per credit. Text features pause at zero.

3. Minimum terms and cancelling

Get Found and Get Booked are month to month. Never Miss, Front Desk and Fleet have a 3-month minimum term. After that you can cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Upgrades start immediately and are pro-rated. Downgrades start at your next billing date.

4. Failed payments

If a payment fails we remind you and give you 7 days to fix it. If it is still unpaid after 7 days, your website is paused (visitors see a "temporarily unavailable" page with your phone number) and paid features such as the AI assistant, text-backs and review requests stop. Everything switches back on as soon as payment succeeds. Your call log and data are kept.

5. Your website and owning it

After 24 paid months the website design and content we built for you are yours. If you cancel after 24 paid months we give you a static copy (HTML, CSS, images) to host anywhere. Before 24 months you can buy the site for R4,999; otherwise it goes offline when your paid period ends.

Your Artisan24 subdomain, phone number and our software remain ours.

6. Your content and accuracy

You are responsible for the information you give us (prices, services, registrations, reviews you paste) being true and lawful. We will not add credentials, reviews or claims you didn't give us.

You confirm you may use any logo, photos and reviews you upload.

7. Guarantee (Never Miss and above)

If our AI books fewer than 3 jobs for you within 60 days of activation, your next month is free, provided call forwarding was active and you filled in at least 3 prices. One guarantee per business.

8. Referrals and Founding 50

For each business you refer that is active and paying, you get R100 off your next monthly charge (never below R0; extra discount isn't carried forward). The first 50 paying businesses keep their plan price through future price changes while their subscription stays active.

9. Service levels and liability

We work hard to keep everything running, but telephone networks, WhatsApp, Google and other providers are outside our control. We are not liable for lost jobs or indirect loss. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.

The AI assistants can make mistakes. Check bookings and messages in your dashboard.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice; Founding member prices are not affected. South African law applies.
